Plural is a content sharing platform and part of Project Someone.

The University of Concordia needed a platform for their students to gather data. The app is a content sharing platform and part of Project Someone.

Project Someone works to build awareness, create spaces for pluralistic dialogues, and combat online hate. Their multimedia materials, training curricula and programs aim to prevent hate speech and build resilience towards radicalization that leads to violent extremism.

Our client needed a private social media platform like Instagram with more features. they wanted to allow students to share voice, texts, and links in addition to the images and videos.

The app had to perform seamlessly on every device even the old ones and gives the users a top social media-like experience.

For the objectives of the project to happen, we started developing native mobile apps for Android and iOS devices. We used Python programming language for the Backend development to ease the process of sharing and accessibility.

The resulting application brought our client a product to help their students gather enough data for their class projects. The Concordia university team was thrilled with the way the design and functionality represented the brand, stories, and values that make them unique.
